Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han

4.0

I still have 100 page till the end of the book however I think these one hundred pages will not change my opinion about this book. So I am giving this book 4/5. I really loved how the characters grow in this book. The development of the characters is not that huge but it was fairly fine. As High school about to end and Lara Jean’s new journey about to beginning, you will witness the characters making decisions and choose for what they want.
I still cannot help but hate Margot. Her character was the worst I had ever came across. Kitty is just smart kid, cool may I say but she could be a little nice. Nevertheless it’s fine since this is how she is. For Lara Jean, at first I was partially annoyed with her. She was giving off a controlling vibe that everything has to go on her own way, her mind was so close to what she wants, to the plans she put for herself until it all changed and she became less annoying.
Maybe it’s because I just loved the first book so much or loved the movie much better. If I read this book when I was younger maybe I would have incredibly loved it.
Sad thing though, it didn’t give me butterflies. LJ and Peter’s relationship becomes kinda plain. This book felt more like I am reading a diary of someone who has been busy with some events of their lives.
As dad says “A relaxing book you could read before going to bed.” That’s what it was for me.
