What a fantastic look into how Valentine deluded everyone. He was despicable. I couldn't believe Luke was ever bad, blinded by love for his parabatai. The whole story was simply sad. The Clave was honestly scum. They had come so far but the prejudices remained. The downworlders deserved better, and the Shadowhunters didn't deserve Magnus. There was a nice callback to Vampires, Scones, and Edmund Herondale though, and a nice tie in with The Mortal Instruments series.
