Bethany's Sin by Robert R. McCammon

3.0

McCammon is pretty much a must for October. This is his second book and whereas it isn't as provocative and engaging as something like "Swan Song" or "Wolf's Hour" The writing level is very high. McCammon blows away most of the horror authors who just look for shock, where he looks to get under your skin with fully rounded characters and strange situations. I wish there were more like him out there and I'm very glad he got back from his publishing hiatus and is back on the scene because it will give fodder for many Octobers to come. As for this one, not very scary, but fun and extremely vivid.
