The Bachelor of Arts by R.K. Narayan

3.0

A 3.5 rating I would give. Somehow I didn't connect with the book although I loved how it gave a glance into the way colleges worked in the pre-Independence era. The thing that surprises me is how education and the way colleges functioned during those days feel so relatable to that of today. I loved the character of Chandran till the first half of the book, that is till he was a student. The newspaper agency part was good enough too. Towards the second half, it started to become a bit redundant. But I loved the character of Mohan, the poet.
