I found this to be an interesting read.
All I can say is that teachers deal with so much; they deserve serious respect and thanks. All students come with a background or burden of some kind. I think this is a great example of how class content has the potential to change lives, though it may not feel like that at times.
I did enjoy seeing the views of both student and teacher.
While it was a good book, if you're looking for something funny or light hearted, this is not the book for you. It's not terribly heavy, but the content is a little sobering, I felt.
