Maggie and her friend DnD Lisa were trying to have a normal spring break a the beach, but were sidetracked by a mysterious beast who completely messes up their car. Maggie and co. investigate the weirdness, while waiting for her car to be fixed. What in the world is going on with this town? Is it el chupacabra or maybe a giant squid?
This was a great continuation. As always, funny and smart. I love the new words I learn when reading Clement-Moore's books. I can't wait for more books by this author. If you are looking for Buffy the Vampire Slayer with more snark and nerdy references, you have come to the right series.
