The Siren Song by Anne Ursu

4.0

While not up to quite the same standards of THE SHADOW THIEVES, the sequel is still an entertaining adventure. Following the events of the first book, Charlotte and Zee find themselves mixed up in even more mythological trouble. This time, they've managed to tick off Poseidon (the second most powerful God in the pantheon!) and find themselves allied with a mysterious classmate.

The narrative tone is very similar to THE SHADOW THIEVES, and it's nice to see the characters again. Very recommended for YA readers who enjoy Percy Jackson, etc.
