Michael Koryta is fastly becoming one of my favorite suspense Authors. His newest had me turning pages till the very end!
Kimberly Crepeaux, a well known heroin addict in a small town confesses to a cold case murder of a local girl and her sweetheart from years ago. In comes Rob Barrett an FBI investigator who specializes in telling whether a someone is telling the truth or not. Rob having local ties also, believes Kimberly's story and is determined to arrest the true killer. When the missing bodies turn up, not where she confessed they'd be and not killed in the same manner she claimed then everyone has questions. Rob now is left to admit he was wrong or risk his job. In the meantime if Kimberly is lying then what really happened and who is getting away with murder?
