All Around the Town by Mary Higgins Clark

Laurie Kenyon was kidnapped as a child by two God loving psychopaths, in result she developed multiple personality disorder. After being accused of college professor Allan Grant's murder, this is the only thing that might lower or change her sentence.

The book started off okay, it wasn't great, but it was okay. The synopsis on the back mentioned the murder of Grant as mentioned above, so I did not expect him to die after 100 pages. I think that took too long, also the book began to drag following his death.

The climax of the book wasn't very clear to me, as it was very easy to figure out the real killer
Spoilerhis wife Karen Grant, who liked money
after one line in the middle of the book. I give the book more than two stars because the kidnappers part of the book and the lead up to the final moment was actually quite entertaining and good.

Multiple personality disorder is not something I have a lot of knowledge about, so I don't know how to properly critique that part. But, I did find it interesting
Spoilerespecially the revealing of the Lee alter, I actually did not see that coming

Basically I read this book to cleanse my pallet and reboot my servers for more sci-fi, fantasy YA.
