I think the only reason this isn’t a 5 star read is because it took me so long to get into. I’d say the first 30% was necessary to setting up the story, but I struggled through it so much that I wasn’t sure how to feel. But once Manu connected with her friends and started really discovering who she was, I couldn’t put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the second book. 

There are quite a few references to Harry Potter. Just feel like it’s important to note.
