Canni by Blood Bound Books, Daniel O'Connor

4.0

This was a creative take on 'end of the world' / cannibal stuff. Anyone could be a canni, and then flip back to their normal self, so that makes murdering them difficult. So this story definitely get points for being original.
The characters were interesting to say the least. One of them got on my nerves so bad, but maybe that was what the author was going for. Another character has Tourettes which made for some comedic moments in the book. Another character refused to wear clothes because he chose not to be part of society.
Overall, the story was decent, but I just couldn't get into the flow of it. There were many characters, and the author did it correctly by introducing them to us slowly and methodically. With that being said, the ones I didn't care for, I had a hard time keeping track of their storyline and just not wanting to keep up with them.
It's still a good story. A solid 4 star book
