Batman: Detective Comics, Volume 4: The Wrath by Joshua Williamson, John Layman, James Tynion IV

5.0

I have loved Layman's run on Detective Comics! His storytelling jumps back and forth between past and present, which is usually difficult for me to follow, but I found this time Layman made it quite easy to follow. Jason Fabok's artwork is also BRILLIANT. Layman has so far dived into a couple of new villains for the New 52, each of them with great depth and story. In this volume, the issues were all leading up to a new villain named "The Wrath". It was cool to see him operate in the shadows at the beginning, and then fully reveal himself toward the end. Overall, a great story, and I found a great storyteller and artist that I will follow in the future.
