Day Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko

5.0

This book picks up where Night Watch left off. This story is told more from the point of the Day Watch, the Dark others that keep an eye on the Light ones in Moscow.
The picture painted of the Dark Others in Night Watch is challenged as you get to know the Dark Ones of the Day Watch. They are Others, magical beings, yet they love, laugh, fight, dream just like the Light Ones.

The characters drew me in so deeply and each story built upon the others so well that I didn't want this book to end. There are two truths to each story and the Light and Dark both contain the dark and light of the other.

I loved it.
