Okay, so this book is interesting, but unlike the silo series its not very cohesive and there doesn't seem to be a really good over all plotline at all. Each short story has something interesting to it, but nothing that makes it a really good connection to the others. Especially the between Rocky's story and Scarlets, it makes it feel like
you are missing something really big like a full chapter or three. The Rocky story is really hard to figure out if this is simply the MC losing his mind or if he's a real thing.... its weirdly morbid in strange moments as well. I don't know, I think I'm just really glad this wasn't the first book of Howey's that I picked up because it's likely I wouldn't read any others with how this one was written.
