I don't know if fantasy just isn't for me anymore or what happened, but I Just didn't care about this story or the characters or anything that happened. Because of this, reading this was almost painful. I did like the action in the end but for the majority of the book I was just bored. I will not be continuing on with the series, and I'm hesitant to pick up another book by Schwab. I am disappointed because I have heard great things about this author and I just don't know if her books are for me.
