Superman: Last Son by Adam Kubert, Richard Donner, Geoff Johns

2.0

Superman unknowingly adopts the child of benevolent Kryptonian prisoners, who is part of their plan to escape and take over Earth. The plot is well-paced, the kid's bond with Superman is touching, as is Superman's backstory with Mon-El. There's Lex Luthor metaphorical position as a human nationalist. A better story than the average beat-em-up comic, but only lightly entertaining.
