She weaves worlds with words and every single time she does not fail to ensnare my heartstrings. Yes, I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. However, had I not been privileged enough for that, I would have purchased it anyway.
This book, a short novella type, is effectively a prequel for her most recent Dragonmasters series book, [b:Flame|38939412|Flame (The Dragonmaster Trilogy, #1)|Katie Cross|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1520650717s/38939412.jpg|60517666]. I love living in her Letum Wood with dragons and magic and a wonderfully crafted cast of characters. Without spoiling anything, I will tell you that if you enjoy her other books, [b:Miss Mabel's School for Girls|25321022|Miss Mabel's School for Girls (The Network Series, #1)|Katie Cross|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1428501279s/25321022.jpg|40376036] especially, the Dragonmasters series is a must. Go forth and revel in the magic at your fingertips. I promise you'll be glad you did.
