Foul Is Fair by Katherine Perkins, Jeffrey Cook

4.0

An interesting opener to a gentle yet entertaining series.

Far more than simply a tale of a girl searching for her missing father, this book blends mythology and folklore with the real-life issues facing so many young people. It takes a gentle approach to the necessary balancing of schooling against the desire to be free and have fun, something which most can relate to. Along with that are the issues faced by those who live with ADHD and depression.

Although aimed at a younger audience, I feel this book would also be an enjoyable, easy read for a more adult reader.
