I would have loved to see the end a little more extended. However, we don't get all we wish for,don't we? ;-)
It was a nice read which started out slowly but picked up pace like the training for the marathon. I've huge respect for what Annie did to honor Kyle and I really liked the storyline. But I personally think you could have deepen the story and charakter development of Annie a little more as well as the one of Jeremiah.
