I purchased the book because I wanted to read Bettie Sharpe's "Each Step Sublime." I've been trying to track down her stories since I finished Ember. This review is solely for that story.

Each Step Sublime is a retelling of The Little Mermaid. My biggest complaint? It's too damn short! It was a painfully well-written 20 pages that whet my thirst. Sharpe does not disappoint here either. Her writing just flows so beautifully.

On to the search for Like A Thief in the Night (not luck so far...)
