I liked this book. The character were interesting, the world was intriguing.
I just felt they were both a little shallow.
There were so many characters I didn't feel like we really spent enough time getting to know our main men.
There were also a lot of things in the world building that I felt were glossed over.
The mating bond really didn't make any sense to me. There seemed to be such little benefit to it. Maybe it's just me but it seemed crazy that Simon would be immortal but could still die if he banged his head 😅
Not sure if I will keep reading this series yet.
