A Cidade Escondida by Pierdomenico Baccalario, Iacopo Bruno

3.0

[It's actually 2.5- 2.8 not 3]

I really don't know what to say for this book... I'll tried to be objective while rating it and not let my own preferences get in the way of this review.
Personally, seeing those new characters and this new purpose, kinda threw me off. I was so used to the storyline of the first 6, invested, and it was what drew me to read the whole thing. Trying to solve the mystery of the doors, the identity of Ulysses Moore. The 6th book ended in such a way, that I was expecting a sort of continuation, more answers, so when I started reading and for some chapters I was reading the story of a completely new characters, it felt like I started reading a new series, and I didn't read it with the same excitement I read the rest. (But, this could just be me, who doesn't like it when
things get changed)
I like the new villains, however I don't have a full (again, objective)opinion on Anita yet.
I really wanna see where this is going, how it will connect to the rest of the books.

Btw,
I can smell the trouble coming :')
