I will be forever frustrated that the “miraculous events” that inspired millions of people in this world to search out religion was in fact perpetuated by a psychotic man with daddy issues who actually cared very little for people and was then covered up and allowed to be seen as a divine miracle by the Catholic Church.
But that’s good writing for you.
Admittedly I knew most of this storyline before I started this novel because I watched the movie years ago but the plot twists and extra content that you get from the novel clearly put this storyline over the edge. I truly enjoyed the book.
I enjoyed Langdon’s character and my only complaint is that Vittoria (FMC) is a brilliant scientist who designed the capsule used to transport the antimatter is reduced down to a damsel in distress who has to be rescued multiple times.
