Becoming: Genre, Queerness, and Transformation in NBC's Hannibal by Kavita Mudan Finn, EJ Nielsen

informative reflective slow-paced

4.25

Great read, for any Hannibal fan!! Lots of great essays, even for someone like me who isn’t in academia and doesn’t read essays often. I enjoyed lots of different takes in the book and it fueled my rewatch of Hannibal in a new and fun way. I’m glad to add it to my Hannibal collection.

Some essays are better than others, and some will be more engaging depending on what you are interested in within the show, but overall this was fantastic. Recommend for anyone who loves the show (and other Hannibal media) and wants to read more about it’s impact on and in relation to the modern world.
