Batman, Volume 7: Endgame by Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV

5.0

Holy fuck this was a strong and horrifying culmination of events Scott Snyder has been building up to for years. Note that I've put it on my Horror bookshelf rather than Superheroes. Although it starts off with one of my favourite recurring storylines: Batman having to take down the Justice League! Once the mind-altering villain behind that Batman vs. JLA kickoff is revealed, Gotham is brought to a lower level of mayhem and sorrow than even Bane or Crane could ever manage.

I'm about to read the tie-in deluxe hardcover Joker: Endgame, and hoping it won't screw with my reading order or just amount to several repeats, but I just never want to stop reading Scott Snyder Batman books!
