This review is broken down into a separate review for each story in the book.

The Exterminator’s Daughter - Meg Cabot
4.5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This isn’t my first Meg Cabot story and I’m sure it won’t be my last since her writing is timeless, (in my opinion anyway)
I quite enjoyed this short little story of a young slayer accidentally finding love while trying to free her mother… honestly if it was a full length story I wouldn’t complain at all.

The Corsage - Lauren Myracle
4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve never read the original story of “The Monkey’s Paw” however i have seen various depictions of it elsewhere and its never failed to freak me out at least a little. This very short story was no different, Lauren Myracle wrote a good story with equal parts scary to equal parts doomed romance.

Madison Avery and the Dim Reaper - Kim Harrison
4.5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really disappointed that this was only a short story since it had such potential to be more! so many questions unanswered. Other than that I gave it 4.5 stars because I liked the characters, the plot direction and the premise of the storyline.

Kiss and Tell - Michele Jaffe
4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very interesting mystery romance concept here left me with many questions !!! Shame that it was only a short story (even though I think it may have been the longest in the book so far)

Hell on Earth - Stephenie Meyer
4.5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yup this story had Meyer written all over it. I would love to have read this as a full story it had such potential (as with all the stories in this collection) the slight world building left me intrigued and the character and chaos was truly enjoyable.
