yall. i love this book so much.
i love cardan so much. i love the tension between cardan and jude. i love the true enemies to lovers in this. why is cardan SO HOT. he didn’t do anything but drink wine and look pretty but bro he is so gorgeous. had me on my knees every time he popped up.
and jude is so badass i love her sm. the tension at the party where they couldn’t stop looking at each other??
“have i told you how hideous you look tonight?” “no, tell me” “i cannot” AHHHHHHHH IT HITS DIFFERENT BECAUSE FAERIES CANT LIE.
and the kiss??? i was listening to me and your mama by childish gambino during the kiss scene and it literally lined up so perfectly, the beat changed when i got to cardan kissing her back and i didn’t even plan for this to happen, but it made the experience 100x better.
oh my gosh i was literally blushing screaming and kicking my feet and pounding my fist against my pillow so many times near the end. i love this slow burn.
i cannot wait until they get together and the plot is so interesting. i love this book. it will live in my head rent free. CARDAN 😩🧎♀️🧎♀️ KING CARDAN🤭✊🧎♀️
