Glass Tidings by Amy Jo Cousins
4.0
I liked this book a lot! The first half is brilliantly written and I adored pretty much everything about it. The momentum did wane slightly in the second half and some of the tension unraveled slightly toward the end ... but still, a very well crafted, highly enjoyable read ...
The things that I loved best about this story is the very unique approach to the holiday season that wasn't overly sweet or clichéd in any way. I loved the vivid and stunning detail ... the wonderfully real and endearing characters ... the story is nicely paced in a way that feels luxuriant and indulgent ... and the prose is absolutely gorgeous. Just a really lovely book ...
