A delightful 1950s family story. The adventures and misadventures of a family. My 6-year-old and I just laughed and laughed about some scenes. I didn’t appreciate the nickname of the youngest “dumpling” and the highlighting of her weight/size but all very acceptable in the 1950s. The whole story had such a carefree retro feel.
