Not going to lie, I really really loved this.

The art is amazing as it was in vol. 1 with some especially killer panels (seriously, there's more than a few I had to stop and just study for an extra minute before moving on). It's just wrapped up enough that I can feel satisfied stopping there, but open ended enough that I'd honestly look forward to more.

The pacing is great, especially for a comic juggling so many characters and storyline at once. Do I wish I could see more about individual characters? Sure. Do I feel like I'm missing vital parts of the story? No, which is really the important part imo, especially in a story focused more on the world at large rather than a character or two. (It's definitely a big brushstrokes kind of story, so I wouldn't go into it or vol. 1 thinking you're going to get every nitty-gritty detail, which was a mistake i made at first)

All in all, this is probably one of the few comics series I'll go out and buy to keep on my shelves. Highly reccomend for established comic fans or people like me who don't read DC comics often at all.
