Original Sin by P.D. James

3.0

Commander Adam Dalgleish and the Inspectors seem almost to be observers in this sprawling novel set around a publishing house with many characters, including the Thames. Slow and meandering at times I still found it an interesting mystery, and I do like PD James' style. With injustice rattling down the centuries can justice too?

(Afterwards I went to investigate the timeline of HIV/AIDS and what was happening around 1994 when the book was published. Lots of death without much hope.)
