Haunted by James O. Born, James Patterson

4.0

First off, I apparently missed the part about this book being apart of a series. It was still good, and was unnecessary to read the previous books before this one (for those who may wonder).

It had a slow start. Took me a while to understand why the first chapter or so was necessary (hence 4 stars instead of 5).

After those few pages, the book picks up pace and keeps you guessing.

The main character, Michael Bennett, tries his best to remain calm and true to his code, despite what’s happening so close to him. But once you see his conflict, you can definitely understand why he’s struggling.

The book has a great plot, and I recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers.
