Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: Guardians Disassembled by Brian Michael Bendis, Kelly Sue DeConnick

3.0

2.5 stars (rounded up to 3). This felt like a book written by committee. The first volume in the series was a great kick off and then volume 2 followed a completely new plotline to introduce a new character to Marvel, Angela. While this book does pick up the exciting plotline of Volume 1, it mostly ignores volume 2. Angela appears in 2 pages of this comic and it is unclear why she is not with the Guardians at the start of the book. Not helping the disjointedness of the series is the fact that Iron Man, for no specified reason, is no longer the Earther of the book, replaced by Agent Venom. Captain Marvel also makes an appearance but for no specified reason than to be a deus ex machina. The art changed from page to page. There were 3 different Draxs within 6 pages. There are better Guardians books and better Bendis books. Seek elsewhere.
