Taunting The dead is the first novel in the D.S Allie Shenton series.
When Steph Ryder is found dead it doesn't take long for D.S Allie Shenton to suspect the extremely arrogant and ambitious husband Terry. Only problem is the people that can help Allie are all to scared of Terry and Allie finds herself not only having to work her way through the web of lies and deception she also has to figure out her ever growing attraction to the ever charming Terry.
I really enjoyed Taunting The Dead, the way the author has written this book throughout nearly all of the story I had scenes playing through my mind at the same time. It would certainly make for a great t.v series. The story itself had the right amount of grit and thrills that a good crime thriller should have and held my interest throughout the whole book.
The characters themselves were all very believable and I am certainly looking forward to seeing what is in store for D.S Allie Shenton in the future.
