In the 2040’s, most of humanity has been wiped out by a plague. A group of soldiers is fighting a rebel army when an abandoned laboratory explodes, triggering a time shift and sending their consciousnesses back 30 years to when the soldiers were in high school. The soldiers now are trying as teenagers to alter the past in such a way that the plague never happens.
I very much enjoyed this book! It was an original premise, and really well written. I thought it was interesting how Cora kept getting flashes of how the future changes based on her actions, and that we get to see how the future changes immediately through dreams based on Cora’s actions. I wish some of the secondary characters had been built up more but the main characters were well described and interesting. Would definitely recommend this book!
