Green Arrow, Volume 4: The Kill Machine by Marcelo Maiolo, Jeff Lemire, Andrea Sorrentino

4.0

Once again, Lemire is successful. This actually looks a lot like Diggle's Green Arrow. Of course, Lemire's requisite themes of father-son inheritance and growing up are here in spades. As usual, Lemire has to give the reader very little while still succeeding in making us care about the characters. Some of this reminded me of the Brubaker/Fraction Immortal Fist what with the supernatural clan aspect. Great for fans of Lemire, the Bendis/Brubaker Daredevil - for the art style and the mostly realistic storyline, and Diggle's work, such as the Losers.
