DC Comics: Bombshells, Vol. 2: Allies by Marguerite Bennett

4.0

It's more cohesive and consistent than the first volume, both artistically and narratively as it feels more like a team than disparate parts. The queerness and feminism have been turned up, there's some powerful emotional beats and plenty of action, so it's basically brilliant. I'm still glad DC are allowing their characters to be used this way, surprised when I find superhero things I care about, and keen to see where it goes from here, especially given the end of this volume.
