The Breakdown by B.A. Paris
2.0
Oh boy, what a boring, repetitive, predictable book.
Cass randomly passes a woman who will soon be murdered & also has a family history of dementia. Thats it, that’s the book. Truly from the first chapter nearly every plot point was obvious and we then spend 200+ pages reading about a grown woman who is terrified of her phone ringing & blindly trusts her dismissive husband & bland best friend.
Normally BA Parris hits you with the horror & pyschomanja of her characters & plots but this one completely missed the mark. this was definitely a hate read just to be done with it so i could move in to my next book…
