It was fine. A bit tense in the beginning, but overridden by the FMC being a massive Debbie Downer all the freaking time. We get it, you are broken, yada yada yada. The author focuses way too much on the FMC's disposition and less on the plot, which is a shame because, had she put more effort into that, it could have been a better book.
