An entertaining, mostly light (though it gets into some dark stuff) slow burn romance. Bonus for being just a straight-up fantasy and not another reborn-into-an-otome-game story. The two main characters were likable (though, Brigitte's behavior did grate a bit, it was understandable considering her backstory). I am hoping we learn more about Yuri in the next volume. Also, more Sienna and Clifford.

The only thing I didn't really like was the attention paid to Brigitte's antagonist, Lisa. I guess it was to give her some depth, but I didn't care about her and her shenanigans. I really hope the next book opens with Brigitte telling the prince to shove his proposal where the sun don't shine and not her starting to question her feelings for Yuri.
