The book is a fun look into the childhood of a man who wants to explain his disability to his daughter. I enjoyed it but it lacked some thread to tie it to some deeper meaning. I liked the characters, and I was rooting for our protagonist the whole way. The book is not gory or horrific, although it has serious adverse events for the character to overcome.
