Racing Savannah by Miranda Kenneally

I enjoyed this book, but I think it was my least favorite of the series so far. This is just going to be a mini-review because for some reason, my full review of this one got lost.

Overall, I liked the story for this one, but the one thing that held me back from truly loving it was the fact that Savannah came off as just a little bit too selfish to me. She put her own wishes and dreams above everyone else's and was surprised and upset when others didn't put her above everything else too. For instance, her dad had a really valid fear that her relationship with Jack might jeopardize his job and she totally disregarded that. She also disregarded Jack's relationship with his father and his business and expected him to pretty much give up everything for her at the drop of a hat. I couldn't quite get behind her in those instances.

Still, I did enjoy the overall story and I enjoyed the horse racing aspects and liked Savannah and Jack together. It just didn't quite live up to some of the other books in the series for me.
