The Power to Get Things Done: (whether You Feel Like It or Not) by Chris Cooper, Steve Levinson

informative reflective slow-paced

3.75

A recommended read by my father.

Frankly, this book could be summarized in 20pgs, but I see the importance of analogies to further explain points.
And appreciate the active participation through questions and spaces where to respond to the questions and a space to write notes for each chapter… these basically summarized the chapter anyway.

There is a lot of repetition, but that’s probably because this reads as a lesson or a speech and they’re trying to drive the point in.
Though it did drag out four chapters longer than it should have.

I rated it 3.75 stars because I would recommend it to someone else, but also, because I haven’t put any of these.

A few beautiful out of context quotes:
“He loved dealing with the forest. He didn’t care much for the trees. And, frankly, he felt nothing but contempt for the leaves. But Maggie welcomed the leaves with open arms. In fact, she loved the leaves.”
