It took until probably 20% or so for it to really grab me. It has POVs focusing on characters with no explanation of who they are or why they are important. I liked the 2 FMCs POVs but when it would switch to some others I'd be like "WHO IS THIS?" and then spend way too long trying to figure out if the character was mentioned somewhere else and I just didn't remember who they were. Basically world building and character introductions were a bit strange but ultimately I became invested and really enjoyed the story.
