I started rereading this because I was at the "yearning for a simpler time" stage of quarantine and this was a series I really liked as a kid, but I have to be honest, it was a bit of a letdown. Even the scenes I remembered loving didn't pack quite the same punch, and the characters weren't nearly as fleshed out and likeable as I once thought they were. Should have just stuck with the fond memories!
