Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five, Vol. 1 by Brian Buccellato

4.0

Varied and interesting world and dialogue, but it does make Superman look like a knuckle-dragging buffoon and by association, Wonderwoman, Damien and the others who are enabling his blundering. Villains should be compelling or at least threatening, but this Superman is as oblivious as the Red Son Superman and it’s hard to take him seriously. That being said, there are some fun/interesting moments between Selina and Harley Quinn, Damien and Alfred, and Deadman...with himself. Actually Deadman’s narration was helpful.
