Twenty Years After is a stellar sequel to The Three Musketeers. The distinct personalities and voices for each of the musketeers still shines brightly, making it easy to enjoy each of them individually but especially as a group. The setting picks up twenty years after, and dives right into the action and adventure. But the musketeers have different desires and responsibilities all this time later.  D'Artagnan spends a portion of time collecting each of his friends to go on an adventure, and those storylines in themselves are very entertaining. It was great revisiting each character, while the overarching theme was quite different than the first book.
