Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.
DNF, only read about 10% of this and couldn't make myself read more.
Set up for the world seemed interesting but I could not get past the male-gaze mysogynistic and possibly racist jokes and commentary.
The incel whining that he was "so nice" but girls just didn't want to fuck him and just used him was particularly nauseating. So he was only being nice because he hoped they would have sex with him out of gratitude? Then that's not being nice, that's trying to get women to prostitute themselves to "pay for/reimburse you" your "niceness". Women can sense that shit.
Also troubling was that in the first 10% of the book, there are two female characters. The white female character was repeatedly described as "hottie". The other woman is black and that's about all that is devoted to her description, nothing about her attractiveness or otherwise, which implies that she was of zero interest physically to this manchild. Perhaps this book gets better and this attitude is redeemed when he learns better, but based on the other reviews that have had a similar reaction, I doubt it. No thanks.
