A sapphic space-opera short story.
Beautiful writing. I rarely encounter books written in 2nd person POV. I just found this a little hard to get into at first, but you'll get it after a few paragraphs.

I prefer to read books without knowing anything about the story, and so it was interesting to me to know that this is sci-fi fantasy. if i had known this is sci-fi, I wouldn't bother reading it as it's not really my go-to genre. But what a pleasant surprise!

I feel like this could be a good, tv miniseries. I would love to hear the songs.

this is my choice for the 5th prompt on Asian Readathon 2024,

Read a book with story, character, or world that represents what you would want in your next life

while it isn't exactly the world that i would want on my next life, i just thought that there's quite an interesting world here, however, minus the chaos
