This book was a very quick read, the pacing pushes forward at a quick clip. Initially an eye roll over the vampire trope but it was actually very entertaining. The main character is a young woman who is, surprisingly for a YA heroine, not an idiot and the plot moves based on the choices she makes rather than having her make stupid choices to follow the plot.
